Greenfield Chess Club News

Posted on Updated on

Starting after March Break some members of Greenfield’s Chess Club will also be attending The Summerside Chess Club on Wednesday evenings, 7pm – 8pm at the Trinity United Church on Spring Street. Any students interested in getting more chess time in are welcome to join us!

Enter through the side door by the parking lot, there are signs pointing the way down the stairs and at every turn. It’s very easy to find! Alex Davies is an experienced chess teacher. He uses the facility because he is a member of the church, but the club is just chess, and is open to any children interested in learning about the game.

Alex Davies will also be set up for chess and origami at the Summerside Rotary Library on Saturday, April 5th at 1pm. He can also be found playing chess at the activities table at the Farmers Market every Saturday morning.  You can join The Summerside Chess Club page on Facebook and the Event pages posted there, for more information and updates.
